Ivy was a lovely English lady who commuted between her family in England and Australia. When Ivy passed away back home in England her family here wanted a Memorial Ceremony where they could express their feelings.
I was contacted by Ivy’s daughter Sue, who had arranged to use the gardens at Wyreena Community Centre in Croydon Victoria which is where Ivy spent many happy hours learning to paint. We had a lovely day and Ivy’s 18 Great Grand Children all released helium filled balloons as a token of sending their love to guide her on the next part of her journey. It was a lovely sunny November day with blue skies and Ivy looking down over her Australian Family. RIP Ivy.
